We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Pre-Sales Leader to join our team and drive our sales efforts in South Africa market. The successful pre-sales leader candidate will be responsible for setting the South Africa sales strategy and ensuring strategic alignment with the relevant South Africa sales leadership. Additionally, they will co-own the pipeline generation and execution process with sales leadership to provide sufficient pipeline cover and diversity to deliver a robust business and achieve sales goals.


The Pre-sales Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring the appropriate skills are available and utilized effectively within the broader matrixed pre-sales team to support sales goals set for South Africa. They will provide a frontline market presence for message amplification and represent the South Africa in regional forums/events, ensuring the adoption of leading practices from those forums.

You will:

  • Set the strategy and ensure strategic alignment to South Africa sales leadership
  • Co-own pipeline generation and execution process with sales leadership to provide sufficient pipeline cover and diversity to deliver a robust business and achieve sales goals
  • Ensure adoption of leading practices from regional forums and represent the local geo in those forums
  • Provide a frontline market presence for message amplification and support marketing events as speaker.
  • Ensure the appropriate skills are available and are utilized effectively within the broader matrixed CA team to support sales goals

Required Qualifications

  • Collaborative working style with the ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the pre-sales team
  • Experience in multiplying the efforts of a team and fostering an environment of creativity and innovation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and concise manner
  • Background in pre-sales
  • Experience in pipeline management and sales goal attainment

Measurement Criteria:

The success of the Pre-sales Support Manager will be measured based on the following metrics:

  •  New software revenue generated in the region
  •  Total pipeline generation and coverage
