Responsibilities

  • Gather, understand, and analyze information regarding allocated segment
  • Anticipate evolution and future trends in the specific segment
  • Partner with the business to drive profitability
  • Introduce ABB products to consultants and develop new markets
  • Plan and implement promotional activities with sales, marketing, and technical teams
  • Identify potential buyers within the segment by understanding their needs
  • Create offers and proposals, including service activities, for segment customers
  • Ensure ownership of customer resolution cases to maintain high satisfaction
  • Collect, analyze, and distribute segment surveys to understand customer trends
  • Build deep understanding of competitors, pricing, product applications, and services
  • Identify and monitor pricing, harmonizing with division price levels
  • Manage annual performance assessments and develop segment metrics
  • Implement segment initiatives as requested by local business manager
  • Create and maintain loyal, long-term relationships with segment customers and associations
  • Organize and follow up on segment-related processes
  • Conduct regular training seminars with local sales teams on segment topics
  • Minimize risks related to agreements, contracts, and offers

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in sales, marketing or key account management role
  • Fluent in English and “local language”, additional languages are of advantage
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment and in a matrix organization
  • Flexibility in travelling within the specified area or other countries
  • Knowledge about the segment application and related product portfolio
  • Good self-leadership, communication and business strategic skills
