Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to join our growing baby food company.
  • The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the national sales team, developing sales strategies, and driving the company's sales growth.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the baby food industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • The NSM will be responsible for Leading, mentoring, and motivating the national sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve skills and performance.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
  • Develop and manage a national account strategy, including key account management.
  • Oversee sales operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams on customer needs and market trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the baby food or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
