Job Title: Business Development Executive - IT Technical

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to generate leads and expand the customer base.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
  • Build and sustain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize in-depth technical knowledge to demonstrate and explain product features and benefits to prospective customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and objections effectively to close sales.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to close deals successfully.
  • Ensure that all sales are profitable and align with the company's financial objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or Technical Certification is a plus.


  • 4-10 years of hands-on experience in IT technical sales.
  • Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales growth/ROI.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT products and services, including software, hardware, cloud solutions, and networking.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and close high-value deals.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
